The Sabetha-Twisters Car Club was started in 1998 with the idea that Sabetha Car enthusiasts could get their cars and trucks out of their garages and present them in a way that other vehicle fanatics would want to do the same.

Members meet monthly and discuss upcoming shows and other items of interest to the diverse group of members. As a car club came together in Sabetha, it was also decided that the club would give money back to the communuity in the form of donations to local organizations or people in need. Twisters Car Club also sponsors a $500 scholarship for a Sabetha High graduate to be used to further their education in the automotive mechanical repair industry.

The Twisters Car Club has an annual car show held the 2nd Sunday of each June. It is hosted at the Sycamore Springs Resort, 5 miles Northeast of Sabetha. This resort provides the show with ample room and plenty of large shade trees. The show typically draws around 125 participants from the 4 state area.
